FedFem Awards Honoring Women Owned Businesses in Government Contracting - LeadersNest

LeadersNest has announced the 2018 FedFem Award Winners, who will be honored at a special event on Thursday, October 25, 2018. 

Here is what you need to know:

FedFem Awards: The FedFem awards (www.fedfemawards.com) salute high-impact women-owned businesses (WOBs) and executives of the government contracting (govcon) industry. This is the first awards program in Washington, DC that recognizes WOBs and female govcon executives.

FedFem Award Honorees blend their entrepreneurial courage and federal government support that effectively impacts the industry, national economy, and the local marketplace. Honorees will have the opportunity to participate in an intimate peer mindshare event that will take place in Q1 of 2019. Their stories also will be featured on LeadersNest.com and celebrated at the awards event.

An independent committee of local and national business leaders identifies and determines the award nominees and winners.

The award categories are divided based on specific set-asides or sectors that each business works in within the government contracting industry. The categories represented are:
