In my opinion, the mergers and acquisitions that occurred in 2010 were primarily driven by organizational conflicts of interest (OCI). This is significant as it represents the potential dramatic market impacts of legislation and the government’s growing commitment to enforcing this type of legislation. Looking forward, it will be interesting to observe the impact of this increased focus on regulating this aspect of government contractors.
